There are local bus and inter-bus.

1. Local bus:

There are many ways to use local bus depending on kind of tickets.

  • One way ticket: it counts on every time to come into a bus. In some cities, you can use 1 ticket for about 2 hours. Please ask carefully in every city.
  • Turns ticket: It means that you buy about 30 turns for 1 card to use. Therefore, you can use for only 30 turns and it is 1 way turn
  • Monthly ticket: You can use that ticket for 1 month from the date you begin to use. It means that it begins to count on the first date to come in a bus until 30 days. You can use whatever turns you want but only in 30 days. To me, this is the cheapest way for student because you can go to school, market…without caring anything.

2. Inter-bus:

Inter-bus is used to go outside the city. There are different companies serving long distance bus such as Express Bus, Concordia Bus, Savonila Bus, etc. In spite of the same traveling distance, different companies will offer different prices even the same distance based on their own services such as fast traveling, internet on bus, bathroom on bus, etc.

Students can get some discounts when they travel long distance with inter-bus. Please ask student union at your school to apply student card or visit VR website for more information about VR discount travelling card.
